An administrative Resolution amending the Salary
Plan and Rates of Compensation Resolution regarding
salary advancement for Substitute Library Specialists.
RESOLVED, that the Salary Plan and Rates of Compensation Resolution be
ameaded ia Section I F 1 thereof, by inserting immediately after Subsection (3) the
following:
"(k) For each 500 hours aa employee has appeared on
the payroll as a Substitute Library Specialist,
he/she may be granted an increase in salary of
one step." ; and be it
FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Salary Plan and Rates of Compensation Resolution
be further amended in Section II thereof, by inserting immediately after Subsection M
the following:
"N The compensation for the class of Substitute Library
Specialist in Section 3.J of the Civil Service Rules
shall be as follows:
Grade S
lst 500 hours of employment $7.00 per hour
2nd 500 hours of employmeat 7.35 per hour
3rd 500 hours of employment 7.71 per hour
4th 500 hours of employment 8.10 per hour
5th 500 hours of employment & thereafter 8.50 per hour
FINALLY RESOLVED, That this resolution shall be effective on the first day
of the new payroll period following approval aad publication.

The Substitute Library Specialist's hours are equal to 2. 2 full time eq�uivalents. The actual
cost depends on the seniority an.d number of hours worked by the 20�1us Substitute:Library
Specialists. The cost will be at most $5, 200 annually based on the difference b�tween the
