WHEREAS, the City of Saint Paul now provides a comprehensive Health and Welfaxe
Insurance Program for its employees and employees of the Independent School District �625, and
WHEftEA.S, under this progra.m, the City has a contract with SHARE to provide Hospital
and Medical Surgical coverage, and
WHII3EAS, pursuant to the terms of this contract SHARE has submitted rates for the
coverage for the 12 month period ending September 30, 1984 as follows:
l. EMPLOYEE COVERAGE
Employee Premium $ 61.14
Family Premium �73.23
-�F�rrployee with Medicaxe will receive a $1�+.00�month reduction
2. REGUI,AFt RETIREE:
Retiree Prem-i.um (Retiree on Med.icare A and B) 19.75 City Pay
RESOLVID, that the City Council does hereby authorize and direct the proper City
Officials to renew said contract between the City of Saint Paul and SHARE, and be it
FURTHII� RESOLVED, that the City and Independent School District �625 shall pay that
portion of the premiums as is a�reed upon by the process of collective bargaining and the
employee shall pay the balance of premiums due through payroll ded.uction, and be it
FIJRTHER RESOLVED, that the proper city personnel be directed to pay these premiums as
they fall due, a.nd be it
FINALLY RESOLVID, that the City Clerk shall be i.nstructed to send a copy of this
resrilution to �iA�2E and the Ochs Agency, Incorporated.
