Our Affirmative Action Recruiter requested a new specification �vhich would allowher to place handicapped workers in custodial titles. She discussed her proposal with Larry Kasella, Business Agent for Custodial Engineers, and he agreed that a lower salary rate would be acceptable. The wage listed is $1. 00 per hour less than that received by the Custodian. It is our intention that once the incumbents have the i r requi site time in for promotion rights they will be promoted to the regular title. ' The abolition of Service Worker is only peripherally related to the above. We rarely use Service Worker because of the low salary.
