WHEREAS, The City Council adopted Council Files �278802 (dated 6/10/82),
#278900 (dated 6/29/82) , and �278924 (dated 7/6/82), said resolutions being
the Final Orders necessary to the approval of certain sidewalk construction
projects identified as Finance and Management Files S-10937 (Mississippi
River Boulevard from Hartford Avenue to 150 feet North of Randolph Avenue),
S-10998 (Both sides of Bradley Street from Case to the South 150 feet, ex-
tended to include 951 Bradley Street) and S-10989 (East side Robert Street
from East King Street to Concord Avenue) and; �
WHEREAS, Said sidewalk pro3ects were not constructed, and
NGW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, That the said sidewalk projects be cancelled
and rescinded fran their respective Final Orders.

Re: 1982 Sidewalk Orders to be Killed
Dear Edward:
Please take the appropriate action to kill the following sidewalk
orders: S-10937 (Mississippi River Boulevard from Hartford Avenue to
150 feet North of Randolph Avenue) , S-10998 (Both Sides of Bradley
Street from Case to the South 150 feet , extended to include 951
Bradley Street) , and S-10989 (East Side of Robert Street from King
Street to Concord Avenue) .
The City Council has developed a habit of discontinuing orders instead
of killing them and there is a very real difference that they should
be made aware of.

The Council of the City of Saint P ul has conducted a public hearing upon the above improvement, due notice
thereof havirtg been given as prescribed b�the City Charter; and

WHEREAS, The Council has heard �l persons, objections and recommendations pertaining to said proposed improve-
ment and has fully considered the same/now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the Council of the City of Saint Paul does hereby order that the above-described improvement
be made, and the proper City officers ar;� hereby directed and authorized to proceed with the improvement: and be it
FURTHER RESOLVED, That i}pon the completion of said improvement, the proper City officers shall calculate
all expenses incurred therein and shall�port the same to the City Council in accordance with Chapter 14 of the City Charter.
