WHEREAS on August 25 ' 1953, pursuant to �rocedures set forth in
Section 45. 0�/ of the St. Paul Legislative Code, the Division of Housing
and Building Code Enforcement (hereinafter referred to as the Division)
requested that an Emergency Abatement Order be issued to raze and
remove a damaged structure located on the following described property,
(hereinafter referred to as the subject property) ;
125 Sherburne Avenue - Lot 'Itaenty (20), Block Two (2) of
Whitneys Subdivision of Blocks 1, 2, 7, �, 9, 10, 15 , 16
and part of 17, of Brewster' s Addition to St Paul, together
with so much of Sherburne Avenue vacated as accrued to said
premises by reason of the vacation thereof.
WHEREAS, an Emergency Abatement Order was issued and the Division
hired Minnesota Lumber and Wrecking Corp, to proceed with the razing
and removal of the damaged structure located on the subject property;
WHEREAS , on August 26 , 1983 the Division received Invoice No, 5944
froni Minnesota Lumber and Wrecking Corp, demanding payment of $2 �566. 64 for
the services performed on the subject property;
W�EREAS, it appears that as of August 25, 1953 the fee owners oi
said property are Lorenzo A, and Vicki J. Arsenal of 1834 7th Street ,
W'hite �ear Lake, Minn, and that other parties of interest are Lloyd C.
and Dorothy Anderson of 213 103rd Ave. N.W. , Coon Rapids , Minn.
W�IEREAS, on August 30, 19�3 the Division sent notice by mail to
the above noted parties of interest and included in said notice all the
information required pursuant to Section 45. 07 of the St. Paul Legislative
Code and also informed the interested parties that a hearing concerning
the Division' s actions will be scheduled before the City Council ; and
W�IEF.EAS, the Divisionx�ow requests the City Council to hold a hearing
for the purpose of considering the actions taken by the Division and to

BE IT RESOLVED, a hearing will be held by and before the Council of
the City of St. Paul, in the Council Chambers of the Courthouse in
said city at 10 ;00 A.M, on Thursday , Nove�nber 10 , 19E3 for the purpose
of considering the actions taken by the Division and to determine whether
the costs incurred by the Division shall be assessed against the
property; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the City Clerk is directed to publish
in the official paper not less than twentyidays before such hearing, a
notice that a hearing will be held to consider this proposed assessment ;
and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a certified copy of this resolution be
served upon the above noted parties of interest of the subject property
in the manner prescribed by law.
