WHERF�.S, the City Council, pursuant to Chapter 62 of the Adtninistrative
Code, did hold a public hearing on May 24, 1983, in the City Council Chambers,
City Council File No. 280340, for the purpose of establishing the level of
exoess operating costs of special lighting in the Laaer Tvwn Lighting Syst�n
of St. Paul, which is to be levi�l against the benefited properties.
Wf�REA.S, pursuant to C�apter 62 of the Ac'hni.nistrative Coc3e� the Department
of Public Works has submi.tted tr� the Department of Finance and Management Services
a report shawing the estimated t�otal cost of special lighting in the Laaer Tawn
Lighting Syst�n is $1,592.86, for the months of Octobex, November and Decesnber
of 1983.
WI-�REAS, it is proposed that the $1,592.86 shall be assessed. against
benefited properkies at the rate of $.22 per assessable foot.
NOW Tf�REFORE BE IT RESOLUED, that a public hearing shall be held in the
Council Chan�rs of the City of Saint Paul at 10:00 A.M. on the 18th day of
Oct�ober, 1983 for the purpose of ad.opting the e�ess operation chargesassessment
for special lighting for the m�nths of October, November and December, 1983
which are to be oollected in the same manner as other real property taxes in
1984;
BE IT FU�R RESOLUED that the City Clexk is hereby directed to publish
notice of this hearing pursuant to Minnesota Statute Chaptex 429, and the Depart-
ment of Finance is hereby dixected t�o mail assessment notices in acc�rdanee with
said Chapter 429.
