MIIKORANDUM OF AGREEMENT
This Memorandum of Agreement is by and between the City of Saint Paul and
the Sheet Metal Workers International Association, Local 76. In full
settlement, the parties hereto have agreed as follows: \
r
1. Except as herein modified the signed 1981-1983 Collective
Bargaining Agreement between the parties, shall be the basis
of the forthcoming labor agreement.
2. Appendix C - Appendix C of said agreement shall be replaced
with Appendix C, which is attached hereto and made a part
hereof.
3. Appendix D - Appendix D of said agreement shall be replaced
wi.th Appendix D, which is attached hereto and made a part
hereof.
It is understood that the above settlement shall be recommended by the City
Negotiator, but is subject to approval by the City Administration and adoption
of the Civil Service Commission and the City Councila
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the parties hereto have affixed their signatures this

APPENDIX D
Effective May 1, 1983, the ENIPLOYER shall:
(1) contribute $1.51 per hour for all hours worked by participating
employees as defined in Articles 12.3, 12.4 and 12.5 of this
AGREEMENT to a Welfare Fund. �`
(2) contribute $1.36 per hour for all hours worked by participating
employees as def ined in Articles I2.3, 12�4 and 12.5 of this
AGREEMENT to a Local Pension Fund.
(3) contribute $ .12 per hour for all hours worked by participating
employees as defined in Articles 12.3, 12.4 and 12,5 of this
AGREEMENT to a National Pension Fund.
(4) deduct $1.94 per hour for all hours worked from the earnings of
participating employees as defined in Articles 12.3, 12.4 and
12.5 of this AGREEMENT, and forward to a Vacation Fund.
(5) contribute $ .11 per hour for all hours worked by participating
employees as def ined in Articles 12.3, 12.4 and 12.5 of this
AGREEMENT to the Journeyman and Apprenticeship Training Fund.
The above contributions may be increased as long as the applicable hourly
rates in Appendix C for participating employees are decreased by the same
total amount.
All contributions and deductions made in accordance with this Appendix shall
be forwarded to depositories as directed by the UNION.
The II�IPLOYER shall establish Workman's Compensation and Unemplayment Compen-
sation programs as required by Minnesota Statutes.
The EMPLOYER'S fringe benefit obligation �to participating employees as defined
in Articles 12.3, 12.4 and 12.5 is limited to the contributions and/or deductions
established by this AGREEMENT. The actual level of benefits provided to employees
shall be the responsibility of the Trustees of the various funds to which the
EMPLOYER has forwarded contributions and/or deductions.
