Ambulance services using the skills and equipment of the paramedic units. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .$194 .00 2 . Regular ambulance emergencies. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .$163 .00 and; be it FURTHER RESOLVED, that these charges shall continue in effect until modified as hereinafter provided and shall be collected from all persons receiving emergency or paramedic ambulance services, provided that these charges shall not be collected from those persons who are exempted therefrom pursuant to 1975 Minnesota Laws, Chapter 426 , Section 3, Subdivision 2 . The charges for ambulance services hereby established are based upon the Fire Department operating budget and shall be increased annually by an amount equal to the percentage increase to the Fire Department operating budget provided each year . The Finance Department shall calculate the new ambulance charges based on the budget increases, and shall impose the new charges thereaf ter until a new budget increase shall become effective. Further resolved, that Council Resolution C.F. 274001, adopted November 8 , 1979 , as amended by C.F. 277160 , adopted July 21, 1981, is hereby repealed. Be It Further Resolved, the City will accept insurance, medicare or medical assistance as full payment of the bill for those 65 years of age or older.
