(Purpose/Rationale): iEhis Resolution approves the 1983 Memorandum of Agreement between the Plumbers Union and the City of St. Paul. This Agreement amends the 1981-19$3 Collective Bargaining Agreement: It establ�ahes, the May 1, 1983 wage rates. The 1983 total package increase for the Plumber is 1.86 per ho.ur. This results in a 1.11 per hour increase in the base rate. This adjustment is based oa the outside union rate. The increase for Water Meter Servicem�� will be .85 per hour. Financial , Budgetary and Personnel Impacts Anticipated: The City has nine employe�s in the Plumber classes. This will amount to $20,779 in ,wages and $14,000 in fringes: The increase for the 14 Water Meter Servicemen will cost $24,752.'
