RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING BUDGET CHANGE POR
BREWERY NEIGHBORHOOD PROJECT - DIST. 9
WHEREAS, the Brewery Neighbarhood Project is a strategic and targeted redevelopment initiative
which will restore and foster a neighborhood residential environment conducive to urban living for all
segments of the population; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Saint Paul adopted the Capital City Development Program
(CCDP), which consolidates CDBG, HOME, FHF and other funds for neighborhood revitalization; and
WHEREAS, the Brewery Neighborhood Project budget which was established Apri122, 1998, in IIRA
resolution #4l22(98-2 included the use of Family Honsing Funds (FHF) in the amount of $475,000.
WHEREAS, the Family Housing Funds were found to be ineligible for the project, and;
WHEREAS, there are sufficient funds in the URAP program income budget to replace a portion of the
FHF funds in the amount of$200,000.
WHEREAS, the mayor pursuant to section 10.071 of the charter of the city of Saint Paul, does certify
that there are available far appropriations $20Q000 in funds in excess of those esrimated in the 2000 budget.

of Family Housing Funds. It was since determined that FHF's were not eligible for this project. This
resolution simply replaces a portion of the FHF with URAP funds, it does not increase the budget.
The Brewery Neighborhood Project will have funds, to continue the construction of the townhouses.
