WHEREAS, Council Files 278653, 278654 and 278655 were approved by
the City Council on May 11, 1982, said Resolutions ratifying assessments
for improving Clark Street from Brainerd Avenue to Hyacinth Avenue, and
Hyacinth Avenue from Clark Street to DeSoto Street.
WHEREAS, said Resolutions determined that the assessments be paid
in 5 installments;
BE IT RESOLVED, That said Resolution be amended to read that said
assessments be determined to be payable in 20 equal installments.

The extention of the aesessment payment period from (5) years to (20) years on assessments
ratified by Council Resolutions C.F. 278653, 278654 and 278655 will relieve the property
owners of the extreme hardship created by the abnormally large asseasment payments.
