proper City officers are hereby authorized and directed to pay
out of the Tort Liability Fund 09070-511-000 , to :
l . Kenneth E. Bock the sum of $174 . 66 in full settlment of his
claim of damages sustained on or about February 10 , 1983 , as
more particularly set out in the Notice of Claim filed in the
City Clerk ' s office on February 25 , 1983 .
2 . Dorothy Quirk the sum of $500 .00 in full settlement of her
claim of damages sustained on or about November 14 , 1982 , as
more particularly set out in the Notice of Claim filed in
the City Clerk ' s office on January 21 , 1983 .
3 . Dorothy Lewis the sum of $500 .00 in full settlement of her
claim of damages sustained on or about September 22 , 1982 , as
more particularly set out in the Notice of Claim filed in the
City Clerk ' s office on September 30 , 1982 .
4 . Cynthia Loder the sum of $250 .00 in full settlment of her
claim of damages sustained on or about January 3 , 1983 , as
more particularly set out in the Notice of Claim filed in
the City Clerk ' s office on January 25 , 1983 .

M E M O R A N D U M
CLAIMS AGAINST CITY OF SAINT PAUL
BY KENNETH E. BOCK, DOROTHY QUIRK ,
DOROTHY LEWIS , AND CYNTHIS LODER
On February 10 , 1983 , a City of Saint Paul police vehicle driven
by Officer Dennis Meyer was west bound on Sherburne responding to
a call . The street was narrow and Officer Meyer moved his vehicle
over for an oncoming car and he moved to far and struck a parked
car owned by claimant , Kenneth Bock . Mr . Bock ' s vehicle was damaged
in the amount of $174 . 66 . This office approves the settlement of
Mr . Bock ' s claim in the amount of $174 . 66 .
Claimant , Dorothy Quirk , requests reimbursement for medical bills
she incurred as a result of a fall on City sidewalk at a location
near the northeast corner of Charles and Cedar . This office has
checked with the Department of Public Works , Sidewalk Division ,
and no previous complaints have been made about this location .
This office approves the settlement of Ms . Quirk ' s claim in the
amount of $500 . 00 .
On September 22 , 1982 , claimant , Dorothy Lewis , was walking from
the southwest corner of Cedar and Fourth Streets and stepped into
a large hole in the street and fell . As a result of her fall ,
Ms . Lewis was injured and sustained medical expenses . The City of
Saint Paul has settled Ms . Lewis ' claim for $500 .00 .
On January 3 , 1983 , a City of Saint Paul snow plow driven by
Louie St . Marie was plowing a deadend street , Elmwood . As he
backed into the driveway of 2102 Elmwood to turn around there was
not enough room and our plow struck the garage at that location .
The garage was owned by claimant , Cynthia Loder , and it was damaged
in the amount of $250 .00 . This office approves the settlment of
Ms . Loder ' s claim in the amount of $250 .00 .
