WHEREAS, on October 13, 1983 Resolution No. 281015
(the "Resolution" ) was passed by the City Council of the City
of Saint Paul authorizing, among other things, execution and�:
delivery of the Lease Agreement and Depository Agreement �orx
the Saint Paul Civic Center Project; establishing and providing
for the administration of a Civic Center Lease Fund; and the
pledging and appropriating of certain moneys therefor; and
WHEREAS, certain technical amendments to Resolution
No. 281015 are required in order to facilitate the successful
completion of the Saint Paul Civic Center Project.
BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Saint
Paul as follows:
1. The figure $5, 397,000 contained in the second
paragraph of Section 4.01 of the Resolution is hereby
amended to read $5,467,285.
2. �he last sentence of the second paragraph of
Section 4.01 of the Resolution is amended to read:
"If in any Fiscal Year the sum of all Tax
Increments received by the HRA, less the
maximum amount of Existing Obligations,
including interest thereon, payable in such
Fiscal Year or in any future Fiscal Year (as
certified to the City by the HRA) , plus all

Net Proceeds of the Lodging Tax received by
the City, exceeds 120$ of the maximum
principal (after taking into account any
mandatory redemption schedule) and interest
to become due on the Bonds in any future
Fiscal Year the Basic Rent Reserve Account
shall terminate and all sums held therein
shall be remitted to the HRA for deposit in
its 'HRA Development Fund. "'
3. Except as hereinabove amended, all proceedings
heretofore taken by the City through its City Council and
its officers and all agreements, instruments and other
documents prepared for execution on behalf of the City,
relating to the Lease Agreement and Depository Agreement,
and the sale by the City of the Saint Paul Civic Center
facilities and lease of the underlying land to the Housing
and Redevelopment Authority of the City of Saint Paul,
Minnesota, are hereby ratified, affirmed and approved.
