RESOLVED, That upon execution and delive.ry of a release in full
to the City, in a form to be approved by the City Attorney, the
proper City officers are hereby authorized and directed to pay
out of the Tort Liability Fund 09070-511-000, to:
1 . Elmer Plaster the sum of $51 .30 in full settlement of his
claim of damages sustained on or about June 16-18 , 1984 ,
as more particularly set out in the Notice of Claim filed
in the City Clerk ' s office on June 20 , 1984 .
2 . Violet C. Ferguson the sum of $116 .80 in full settlement of
her claim of damages sustained on or about June 11 , 1984 ,
as more particularly set out in the Notice of Claim filed
in the City Clerk ' s office on June 22 , 1984 .
3 . David J. Holmberg, Sr. and Rose E. Holmberg the sum of
$214 .90 in full settlement of their claim of damages
sustained on or about June 11 , 1984 as more particularly
set out in the Notice of Claim filed in the City Clerk' s
office on June 18 , 1984 .
4 . Geneice Anderson the sum of $17.95 in full settlement of
her claim of damages sustained on or about June, 1984 , as
more particularly set out in the Notice of Claim filed in
the City Clerk ' s office on June 26 , 1984 .
5 . Stanley V. Pazdernik the sum of $54 .95 in full settlement
of his claim of damages sustained on June, 1984 ,as_ more
particularly set out in the Notice of Claim filed in the
City Clerk ' s office on July 6 , 1984 .

CLAIMS AGAINST CITY OF SAINT PAUL BY
ELMER PLASTER; VIOLET C. FERGUSON;
DAVTD J. HOLMBERG, SR. AND ROSE E.
HOLMBERG; GENEICE ANDERSON; and
STANLEY V. PAZDERNIK
On June 16 , 1984 , the sewer line at 1809 Ivan Way owned by
claimant , Elmer Plaster, blocked up. This was because a concrete
invert had been incorrectly shaped and the paving connection had
been installed at a lower elevation . This was incorrectly done
during construction by the City of Saint Paul . Mr . Plaster had
to have A-1 Root Masters clean out his line at a cost of $51 .30 .
This office approves the settlement of Mr. Plaster ' s claim in
the amount of $51 .30 .
On June 11 , 1984, the City of Saint Paul , Department of Public
Works , tarred city streets on the east side of Saint Paul . It
was a rainy day and the streets were not adequately sanded. The
rain caused the tar to pool and splash onto cars traveling on
the street . Claimant , Violet C. Ferguson, requests reimbursement
for expenses incurred in cleaning the tar from her automobile .
This office approves the settlement of Ms . Ferguson ' s claim in
the amount of $116. 80 .
On June 11 , 1984 , the City of Saint Paul , Department of Public
Works , tarred city strets on the east side of Saint Paul . It
was a rainy day and the streets were not adequately sanded. The
� rain caused the tar to pool and splash onto cars traveling on
the street . Claimants , David J. Holmberg, Sr , and Rose E.
Holmberg, request reimbursement for expenses incurred in cleaning
the tar from their automobiles and clothing . This office approves
the settlement of their claim in the amount of $214.90 .
