The Division of Housing and Building Code Enforcement is hereby submitting its
report on the condition of the structure at �Che location referred to above.
The owners of record are:Charles A. Johnson, 462 Edmund Avenue, St. Pau1,MN. 55103,
Michael Hafner, 969 Greenway, St. Paul, MN. 55119, and Michael Hafner, 1038 Ma.rnie
St. , St. Paul, MN. 55119.
The legal description of the property is: L 19 Dale St. Addition.
The building is a detached wood frame garage.
The subject property has been boarded up by the City since September, 1984.
This building be�:.ause of age,deterioration, lack of proper maintenance, and the
following list of deficiencies:
1. The roof shingles are missing.
Z. The roof sheathing has rotted boards and several holes.
3. The floar above the West side ceiling joists has rotted
boards and holes.
4. The interior of the garage has piles of debris(fiberboard
scraps F� tree limbs � branches) .
5. The windows are broken.
6. The siding is worn.
is creating a nuisance and is a blighting influence on the neighborhood.
Inasmuch as the conditions outlined above constitute a public hazard and the
owner has ma.de no attempt to satisfactorily repair the damage despite our
warnings, and the continued vacant and boarded up condition contributes a
blighting influence on the neighborhood, it is the recommendation of this
Division tha.t this ma.tter be referred to the City Attorney's office for raz-
ing d removal through District Court proceedings.
