RESOLVED, That upon execution and delivery of a release in full
to the City, in a form to be approved by the City Attorney, the
proper City officers are hereby authorized and directed to pay
out of the Tort Liability Fund 09070-511-000, to :
1 . Patricia M. Scott the sum of $271 . 71 in full settlement of her
claim of damages sustained on or about May 22, 1984 , as more
particularly set out in the Notice of Claim filed in the City
Clerk ' s office on July 30, 1984 .
2 . Bryan Putney the sum of $2 ,000.00 in full settlement of his
claim of damages sustained on or about Auqust 2 , 1984 , as
more particularly set out in the Notice of Claim filed in
the City Clerk ' s office on August 21 , 1984
3 . Evelyn Sehr the sum of $65 .90 in full settlement of her
claim of damages sustained on or about October 4 , 1984 , as
more particulary set out in the Notice of Claim fi�:ed in
the City Clerk ' s office on October 16 , 1984 .
4. Tammy A. Hartmann the sum of $40 .00 in full settlement of
her claim of damages sustained on or about August 9 , 1984 ,
as more particularly set out in the Notice of Claim filed
in the City Clerk ' s office on October 2 , 1984 .

M E M O R A N D U M
CLAIMS AGAINST CITY OF SAINT PAUL
BY PATRICIA M. SCOTT, BRYAN PUTNEY,
EVELYN SEHR, A[VD TAMMY A. HARTMANN
On May 22 , 1984 , a City of Saint Paul , Department of Public
Works , vehicle backed into a vehicle owned and driven by claimant ,
Patricia M. Scott. Driver of the City vehicle was Mark O.
Walsh . Damages in the amount of $271 . 71 were incurred by Ms .
Scott ' s vehicle. This office approves the settlement of Ms .
Scott ' s claim in the amount of $271 . 71 .
On August 2, 1984, a City of Saint Paul canine from the Saint
Paul Police Department bit Bryan Putney, without provocation, in
the back. Mr . Putney was injured as a result of the bite and
obtained medical treatment and incurred expenses. A settlement
of $2, 000. 00 was negotiated by the City and Mr . Putney' s attorney
for Mr . Putney' s injuries and expenses. This office approves
the settlement of Mr . Putney ' s claim in the amount of $2 , 000.00 .
On October 4, 1984 , a vehicle owned by claimant, Evelyn Sehr,
was towed and impounded without sufficient cause by the City of
Saint Paul , Department of Police. As a result, Mrs . Sehr had to
pay $65 . 90 to the Impound Lot for storage and towing fees . This
office approves the settlement of Mrs . Sehr ' s claim in the
amount of $65 .90.
On August 9 , 1984 , a vehicle owned by claimant , Tammy Hartmann,
was towed and impounded to the Saint Paul Impound Lot by the
Saint Paul Police Department . In her vehicle was a child' s
toddler car seat which was being held for her at the Impound
Lot . Subsequently, her vehicle was auctioned off and when she
went to pick up her car seat the Impound Lot could not locate
it . The velue of the seat was $40 . 00. This office approves the
settlement of Ms . Hartmann ' s claim in the amount of $40 . 00.
