RESOLVED, That upon execution and delivery of a release in full
to the City, in a form to be approved by the City Attorney, the
proper City officers are hereby authorized and directed to pay
out of the Tort Liability Fund 09070-511-000, to :
1 . Michael Dineen the sum of $53 .90 in full settlement of his
claim of damages sustained on or about March 11 , 1984 , as
more particularly set out in the Notice of Claim filed in
the City Clerk ' s office on April 25 , 1984 .
2 . Julie Schaffer the sum of $41 .90 in full settlement of her
claim of damages sustained on or about July 30 , 1984 , as
more particularly set out in the Notice of Claim filed in
the City Clerk ' s office on August 8 , 1984 .
3 . Debbie Neubauer the sum of $44 .57 in full settlement of her
claim of damages sustained on or about August 8 , 1984 , as
more particularly set out in the Notice of Claim filed in
the City Clerk 's office on August 23 , 1984 .

M E M O R A N D U M
CLAIMS AGAINST CITY OF SAINT PAUL
BY MICHAEL DINEEN, JULIE 5CHAFFER,
AND DEBBIE NEUBAUER
On March 11 , 1984 , at Cleveland and Juno, a vehicle owned by
claimant , Michael Dineen, was illegally tagged and towed by the
Saint Paul Police Department . As a result of the towning, Mr .
Dineen had to pay $53 . 90 for the release of his vehicle from the
impound lot . This office approves of the settlement of Mr .
Dineen ' s claim in the amount of $53 .90.
On July 30 , 1984, a vehicle owned by claimant , Julie Schaffer,
was towed from the street near 2334 Buford Avenue . No parking
signs were not posted so Ms . Schaffer did not know she wasn' t
suppose to park there. The vehicle was towed by the City of
Saint Paul to the impound lot and Ms . Schaffer paid $41 .90 for
towing and storage fees to get her vehicle. This office approves
the settlement of Ms . Schaffer ' s claim in the amount of $41 . 90 .
On August 8 , 1984 , a vehicle owned and driven by claimant , Debbie
Neubauer, hit a deep depression on the Highway 94 entrance at
Concordia. The depression was elft unfilled by the City' s Depart-
ment of Public Works ' maintenance crew subsequent to some street
construction work. When Ms . Neubauer hit the depression it
caused damage to her car in the amount of $44 .57. This office
approves the settlement of Ms . Neubauer ' s claim in the amount of
$44 .57.
