RESOLVED, that upon execution and delivery of a release in
full to the City of Saint Paul, the proper City officers are hereby
authorized and directed to pay out of the Tort Liability Fund
09070-511-000 to William V. Bydzovsky the sum of $3, 500 . 00 in
full settlement of his claim for damages sustained July 4, 1982,
as more particularly set out in a communication to the City Council
Janaury 3 , 1983 .

RE: Claim against the City of Saint Paul
by William V. Bydzovsky
William V. Bydzovsky brought an action in Federal District Court
against the City of Saint Paul and Police Officers Charles Geyer,
Donald Hase and John Vomastek for violation of his civil rights
and injuries suffered by plaintiff when he was bit in the groin
by a police K-9 as the officers were attempting to subdue a noisy
party at 1925 Taylor Avenue in the City of Saint Paul on the evening
of July 4 , 1982 .
This office approves settlement of this lawsuit in the amount of
$3, 500.
