Weyandtl RE : Richard Fillmore Recently I settled the balance of his claim for $99,000. 00. This settlement closes all claims for permanent partial disability. The settlement is very desirable : for both parties. It eliminates the need for e:tensive medical evaluations, and counter evaluations and then the requirement that all these evaluations be combined. One of the major problems with this claim is that many areas oi permanency overlap and it would have taken extensive medical review to combine and coordinate all ratings. This wo,zd easily have cost an additional 7 to 10 thousand in medical bills. On top of that the litigation costs, in dollars and morale, would have been very costly. Please transier $99, 000. 00 from the contingent specified reserve into 09020. I wculd like to keep the balance of that contingent reserve on hand to pay future large claims such as the ones that wiZl come from the pa=amedic accident of last week. Call is you have any questions. :-. %y C IT 3T O r A I i7 '.E.LJ r, . /.-t' ,. . ,y.:z;; . ! : -. ",t : f,•t , Oli`PIC OF 1'FIT: CITY COUIti'L'IL ::ili_ p:«•.
