RESOLUTION GIVING CONCURRENT APPROVAL TO
A JOINT POWERS AGREEMENT AND AUTHORIZATION
TO MAKE APPOINTMENTS TO A JOINT BOARD
WHEREAS, the last four years the Housing and Redevelopment
Authority of the City of Saint Paul, Minnesota ("HRA") and the
P�Iinneapolis Community Development �gency ("CDA") have successfully
undertaken coo}�erative housing finance programs to the financial
benefit of both Saint Paul and Minneapolis ; and
WHEREAS , the HRA has approved the use of a joint powers
agreement, subject to approval by the Saint Paul City Council,
for execution by the HRA and CDA, which will be utilized for
housing programs cotrunencing with the 1984 Housing Revenue Bond
allocation program or programs ; and
WHEREAS , the HRA requests authorization from the Saint Paul
City Council to make three appointments to a joint board to be
created in connection with the above-referenced joint powers
agreement.
�VOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED:
1. The use and execution of a joint powers agreement by
and between the HRA and CDA, for joint housing pro-
grams is approved.
2 . The HRA is authorized to appoint three members to a
joint powers board which will be created in
connection with the above-referenced joint powers
agreement .
