has secured an agreement for the purchase of that certain property described
as follaws:
Lot 1, Chas. Weides Subdivision of Block 46 of Arlington Hills
Addition to Saint Paul, Minnesota. Also, all that part of l�ss
Street vacated and accruing to Lot 1, Chas. Weides Subdivision
of Block 46 of Arlington Hills Additiom to Saint Paul, Minnesota,
lying South of the South line of said Lot l, and
Lot 2, Chas. Weides Subdivision of Block 46 of Arlington Hills
Addition to Saint Paul, Minnesota according to the recorded plat
thereof on file and of record in the office of the Register of
Deeds in and for Ramsey County, Minnesc>ta
Wf�RE'AS, The property herein described is necessary for the replacement
of the Payne Avenue Bridge over the Chicago Northwestern Railroad tracks.
The property was approved for acquisition on April 26, 1983, by Final Order,
Council File No. 280215. The price at which the property may be purchased
is in the amount of $200,000.00 it being a fair and reasonable pric�e for the
subject property according to the apprasisal obtained by the Valuation
�gineer; arld
WI�REAS, The Valuation Engineer has recanmended the purchase of said
property at the price stated above;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, That the Council of the City of Saint
Paul does hereby authorize the purchase of the above described land; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That the proper City officials are hereby
authorized and directed to pay Richard E. aitid Bernice A. Timmers, recorded
owners, the sum of $200,000.00. The conditions of said sale contained in
the Memorandum On Sale of Real Estate; said memorandum is attached hereto
and inoorporated herein by reference. Said sum to be charged to P.I.R Fund
No. 62520-711-000 (L-8772) ; to be reimbursed fran M.S.A. Funds
