Wf�REA.S, the legal description in Resolution C.F. 84-371 adopted March
15, 1984, which pertains to the vacatian of part of Whitall Street has been
determined to be incorrect as described, to wit:
All that part of Whitall Street that lies south of the follawing
described line:
Beginning at a point on the west line 34.12 feet south
of the northw�est corner of the southwest quarter of the
southwest quarter of Section 29, 'Ibkvizship 29 North, Range
22 West to a point oai the east line, 34.98 feet south of
the northwest aorner of said quarter-quarter section.
Wf�S, Resolution C.F. 84-699 adopted May 29, 1984 did amend
said description in Resolution C.F. 84-371 to wit:
All that part of Whitall Street as originally platted in Stinson's
Addition to the City of Saint Paul in the State of Minnesota which lies
south of the follawing described line:
Beginning at a point on the west line of said addition thirty
three and sixty twr� hundredths f�eet (33.62') south of the
northwest oorner of said additioaz; thence east, to a point on
the east line of said additi� twenty four and ninety eight
hundredths feet (24.98') south of the northeast o�rner of
said addition.
Wf�RF'�AS, The amended description in Resolution C.F. 84-699 does not
clearly indicate that the North addition line of Stinson's Addition to the
City of Saint Paul and the NortY�li e �of the South 1/2 of the Southwest
quarter of Section 29, 'Ibwnship 29n°�e 22 West are one in the same line.

WI�RF'�AS, it is the intention to vacate that part of said Whitall Street
lying south of a line that best passes through the old stone monuments and
north of a line thirty-three feet (33') south of and parallel to the North
line of the south 1/2 of the Southwest quarter of Section 29, Township 29
North, Range 22 West.
T�'ORE, BE IT RFSULVID, 'I'hat resolution 84-699 adopted May 29, 1984
is hereby rescinded.
BE IT FUKrF�Et RF:SOLVID, That the description pertaining to the vacation
of part of said Whitall Street in Resolution 84-371 adopted March 15, 1984
is hereby amended tro read as follaws, to wit:
All that part of Whitall Street as originally platted in Stinson's
Addition to the City of Saint Paul in the State of Minnesota which lies
south of the follawing described line:
Beginning at a point on the west line of said addition thirty
three and sixty tw� hundredths feet (33.62') south of the
northwest corner of said addition; (The North line of said
addition being the north line of the south 1/2 of the Southwest
quarter of Section 29, Township 29 North, Range 22 West); thence
east to a point � the east line of said additi� twenty four and
and ninety eight hundredths feet (24.98') south of the northeast
corner of said addition and there terminating.
AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that all other aspects of Council
�solution C.F. 84-371 shall remain in full force and effect.
