RESOLVED, That upon execution and delivery of a release in full
to the City, in a form to be ap�roved by the City Attorney, the
proper City officers are hereby authorized and directed to pay
out of the Tort Liability Fund 09070-511-000, to:
1 . Patricia Callahan the sum of $36 .00 in full settlement of her
claim of damages sustained on or about June 5 , 1984 , as more
particularly set out in the Notice of Claim filed in the City
Clerk ' s office on July 11 , 1984 .
2 . Mrs . Paige Reinhardt the sum of $13 .10 in full settlement of
her claim of damages sustained on or about June , 1984 , as
more particularly set out in the IVotice of Claim filed in the
City Clerk ' s office on July 10, 1984 .
3 . Marilyn Tacheny the sum of $69 .95 in full settlement of her
claim of damages sustained on or about June , 1984 , as more
particularly set out in the Notice of Claim filed in the
City C1erk ' s office on July 16, 1984 .

M E M O R A N D U M
CLAIMS AGAINST CITY OF SAINT PAUL BY
PATRICIA CALLAHAN, MRS. PAIGE REINHARDT,
AND MARILYN TACHENY
A stolen motorcycle was reported to the Saint Paul Police Depart-
ment on June l , 1984 by its owner, claimant Patricia Callahan.
The motorcycle was recovered by the Saint Paul Police Department
on June 5, 1984 and the owner was not notified by telephone which
is standard procedure . Therefore, the owner was not able to get
her motorcycle out of the impound lot until June 9 , 1984 . Ms .
Callahan paid for five days ' storage and administration fee of
$6 . 00 and we are reimbursing her for a total of $36 .00 . This
office approves the settlement of Ms . Callahan ' s claim in the
amount of $36 . 00 .
In June , 1984 , the Public Works Department tarred city streets on
the east side of Saint Paul . It was rainy and the streets were
not adequately sanded. The rain caused the tar to pool and
splash as cars drove over the streets . Claimant , Mrs . Paige
Reinhardt, requests reimbursement for damages ot her clothing
which she incurred when splashed with tar by passing cars . This
office approves the settlement of Mrs . Reinhardt ' s claim in the
amount of $13 .10 .
