Wf�RE'AS, the City of Saint Paul, acting through its Valuation �gineer
has secured an agreement for the purchase of that certain property described
as follaws:
Lots 15 and 16, Chas Weid�e's Subdivision of part of Block 45 of
Arlington Hills Addition to St. Paul
WHEREAS, The property herein described is necessary for the
replacement of the Payne Avenue Bridge over the Chicago Northwestern
Railroad tracks. The property was approved for acquisition on April 26,
1983, by Final Order, Council File No. 280215. The price at which the
property may be purchased is in the amount of $45,000.00 it being a fair
and reasonable price for the subject property aa;ording to the appraisal
obtained by the Valuation F�gineer; and
TnII�RFAS, The Valuation Engineer has recannended the purchase of said
property at the price stated above;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, That the Council of the City of Saint
Paul does hereby authorize the purchase of the above described land; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That the proper City officials are hereby
authorized and directed to pay M. P. Mortensen & Son, Inc., recorded owner,
the sum of $45,000.00. The conditions of said sale contained in the
Memorandum On Sale of Real Estate; said memorandum is attached hereto and
ir�corporated herein by reference. Said sum to be charged to P.I.R Fund No.
62520-711-000 (Ir8772) ; to be reimbursed fran M.S.A. Funds.

10. Seller to allow access to premises to City or its agents prior to date
of posssession for purposes of implementing action for the disposition
