RESOLVED, That upon execution and delivery of a release in full
to the City, in a form to be approved by the City Attorney, the
proper City officers are hereby authorized and directed to pay
out of the Tort Liability Fund 09070-511-000, to:
l . Timothy C. Bernier the sum of $1 ,271 .28 in full settlement of
his claim of damages sus�tained on or about January 13 , 1984 ,
as more particularly set out in the Notice of Claim filed in
the City Clerk ' s office on February 21 , 1984 .
2 . Michael N. Zaccardi the sum of $67.95 in full settlement of
his claim of damages sustained on or about June 11 , 1984 , as
more particularly set out in the Notice of Claim filed in the
City Clerk ' s office on June 15, 1984 .
3 . William Greifzu the sum of $324 .99 in full settlement of his
claim of damages sustained on or about July 31 , 1984 , as more
particularly set out in the Notice of Claim filed in the City
Clerk 's office on August 3 , 1984 .

M E M O R A N D U M
CLAIMS AGAINST THE CITY OF SAINT PAUL BY
TIMOTHY C. VERNIER, MICHAEL N. ZACCARDI,
AND WILLIAM GREIFZU
On January 13 , 1984 , a City of Saint Paul , Department of Public
Works , truck driven by employee Stuart Smith rear ended a vehicle
owned and driven by claimant , timothy C. Bernier . Mr . Bernier ' s
car was damaged as a result in the amout�rl' of $1 , 271 .28 . This
office approves the settlement of Mr . Bernier ' s claim in the
amount of $1 , 271 ,28 .
On June 11 , 1984 , the City of Saint Paul , Department of Public
Works , tarred city streets on the east side of Saint Paul . It
was a rainy day and the streets were not adequately sanded. The
rain caused the tar to pool and splash onto cars traveling on
the street . Claimant , Michael N. Zaccardi , requests reimbursement
for expenses incurred in cleaning the tar from his automobile.
This office approves the settlement of Mr. Zaccardi ' s claim in
the amount of $67.95 .
On July 31 , 1984 , a City of Saint Paul , Department of Public
Works , vehicle driven by city employee Raymond Wagner was unable
to stop at the intersection of West 7th and Walnut . Our driver
rear ended a vehicle which was already stopped in the intersec-
' tion. This vehicle was owned and driven by claimant , William
Freifzu. As a result his vehicle was damaged in the amount of
$324 .99 . This office approves the settlement of Mr. Greifzu' s
claim in the amount of $324 .99 .
