RESOLVED, That upon execution and ,delivery of a release in full
to the City, in a form to be approved by the City Attorney, the
proper City officers are hereby authorized and directed to pay
out of the Tort Liability Fund 09070-511-000�, to:
l . Lucia Ciresi the sum of $131 . 72 in full settlement of her
claim of damages sustained on or about April 9, 1984 , as
more particularly set out in the Notice of Claim filed in
the City Clerk ' s office on Jung 6 , 1984 .
2 . Mrs . Richard J. Nicoski the sum of $91 .00 in full settlement
of her claim of damages sustained on or about June 11 and 18 ,
1984 , as more particularly set out in the Notice of Claim
filed in the City Clerk ' s office on June 25 , 1984 .
3 . Thomas B. Schlundt the sum of $118 .94 in full settlement of
his claim of damages sustained on or about June 11 , 1984 , as
more particularly set out in the Notice of Claim filed in
the City Clerk ' s office on June 29, 1984 .
4 . Alfredo 's Restaurant the sum af $140 .00 in full settlement
of its claim of damages sustained on or about December 8 ,
1983 , as more particularly set out in the Notice of Claim
filed in the City Clerk ' s office on July 13 , 1984 .

M E M O R A N D U M
CLAIMS AGAINST CITY OF SAINT PAUL BY
LUCIA CIRESI , MRS. RICHARD J. NICOSKI,
THOMAS B. SCHLUNDT, AND ALFREDO' S
RESTAURANT
On April 9 , 1984 , claimant , Lucia Ciresi , fell on a raise in a
City of Saint Paul sidewalk near 986 West Minnehaha. She injured
hereself as a result and incurred medical expenses in the amount
of $131 . 72 . This office approves the settlement of Mrs . Ciresi ' s
claim in the amount of $131 , 72 .
On June 11 , 1984, the City of Saint Paul , Department of Public
Works , tarred city streets on the east side of Saint Paul . It
was a rainy day and the streets were not adequately sanded, The
rain caused the tar to pool and splash by cars traveling on the
streets . Claimant , Mrs . Richard J. Nicoski , requests reimburse-
ment for clothing damanged by the tar when cars splashed her
daughter as she walked along the street . This office approves
the settlement of Mrs . Nicoksi ' s claim in the amount of $91 . 00 .
On June 11 , 1984, the City of Saint Paul , Department of Public
Works tarred city streets on the east side of Saint Paul . It
was a rainy day and the streets were not adequately sanded. The
rain caused the tar to pool and splash onto cars traveling on
the street . Claimant , Thomas B. Schlundt , requests reimbursement
for expenses incurred in cleaning the tar from his automobile .
This office approves the settlement of Mr. Schlundt ' s claim in
the amount of $118 . 94 .
On Decemer 8 , 1983 , a City of Saint Paul , Department of Public
Works , tractor was removing snow from Sibley Street and struck
an awning owned by claimant , Alfredo ' s Restaurant . The awning
was damaged in the amount of $140 . 00 . This office approves the
settlement of Alfredo ' s Restaurant ' s claim in the amount of
$140 .00 .
