Wff�RREAS, The City of Saint Paul, acting through its Valuation
�gineer has secured an agreement for the purchase of that certain property
c�scribed as follows:
Lot 1, Chas Weide's Subdivision of Lots 12, 13, 14 & 15
of Block 1 of Borup and Payne's Additiaz to St. Paul
Wt�REA.S, The property herein described is necessary for the replacement
of the Payne Avenue Bridge over the Chicago Northwestern Railroad tracks.
�e property was approved for acquisition on April 26, 1983, by Final Order,
Council File No. 280215. The price at which the property may be purchased
is in the amount of $41,000.00, it being a fair arLd reasonable price for the
subject property according to the appraisal obtained by the Valuation
�gineer; and
W�E'AS, The Valuation F�gineer has reoommended the purchase of said
property at the price stated ab�ve;
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, That the Council of the City of Saint
Paul c�es hereby authorize the purchase of the above described land; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That the proper City officials are hereby
authorized and directed to pay Dorothy H. Buetow, Lorraine J. Engen, Donna
M. Eklund, Robert B. Culliton, Paul E. Culliton, Mary E. Culliton and John
E. Culliton, reoorded awners, the sum of $41,000.00. The oonditions of said
sale are contained in the Memorandum On Sale of Real Estate; said
memorandwn is attached hereto and ir�rporated herein }� reference. Said
sum to be charged to P.I.R. Fund No. 62520-711-000 (L-8772); to be
reimbursed fran M.S.A. Funds.
