WHEREAS, Kasota Avenue is improved from Snelling Avenue to the
West 700 feet and from Gibbs Avenue to State Trunk Highway Number
280, and
WHEREAS, the City is proposing to construct a new roadway to extend
between and to connect the above described segments of Kasota
Avenue and known as Kasota Avenue, and
WHEREAS, Kasota Avenue is on an alignment of Energy Park Drive, and
WHEREAS, Kasota Avenue-Energy Park Drive alignment is a ma�or
east-west collector and provides access to Energy Park from
State Trunk Highway Number 280, and
WHEREA.S, the Energy Park Master Plan: Policies recommended this
roadway be redesignated as Energy Park Drive, now therefore be it
RESOLVED, that the Council of the City of Saint Paul does hereby
order that Kasota Avenue, between Snelling Avenue and the centerline
of State Trunk Highway Number 280 shall hereafter be known and
designated by the name of Energy Park Drive� b:e it
FINALLX RESOLVED, that the above changes shall be effective
November 1, 1984.
