W�S, The City of Saint Paul, acting through its Valuation �gineer
has secured an agreement for the purchase of that certain property described
as follaws:
Lot 4, Chas. Weides Subdivision of Block 46 of Arlington Hills
Addition to Saint Paul, Minnesota, according to the recorded plat
thereof on file arx7 of reaord in the office of the Register of Deeds
in and for Ra�ey Gounty, Minnesota
Wf�EtEAS, The property herein described is necessary for the replac:ement
of the Payne Avenue Bridge over the Chicago Northwestern Railroad tracks.
�ie property was approved for acquisition on April 26, 1983, by Final Order,
Council File No. 280215. The price at which the property may be purchasecl
is in the amount of $29,000.00, it being a fair and reasonable price for
the subject property aa;ording to the appraisal obtained by the Valuation
�ngineer; arxl
WI�RF'�AS, The Valuation Engineer has recommended the purchase of said
property at the price stated above;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, That the Council of the City of Saint
Paul does hereby authorize the purchase of the above described lancl; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That the proper City officials are hereby
authorized and directed to pay Sandra L. Stevens, recorded owner and Donald
� R Denny, contract vendee, the sum of $29,000.00. The conditions of said
sale contained in the Memorandum On Sale Of Real Estate; said memorandum is
attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference. Said sum to be
charged to P.I.R. Fund No. 62520-711-000 (L-8772); to be reimbursed from
M.S.A.. Funds.

12. Seller to pay rent commencing on the first day of the second month
af ter the month in which closing occurs. Seller to execute lease

13. Seller to notify Division of Valuations, 218 City Hall, phone 298-5317,
when date of vacating premises is known; and seller to deliver keys to
premises to said Division immediately upon vacating the premises.
14. Seller to pay all assessments levied against said property.

15. Miscellaneous:
If there is a renter, seller to collect rent for the month in
which closing occurs and City to collect rent starting the first
month follawing the month in which the closing oacurs.
NOTE: Conditions listed above are not binding until approved by City
