WHEREAS , on April 22 , 1980 the City Council did adopt the
resolution contained in Council File #274785 which authorized City
officials to accept from the Port �,uthority a deed dedicating certain
property in the Pig's Eye Lake Area for park and recreation purposes;
and
WHEREAS, it has been ascertained that the legal descriptions
contained in said deed were defective and that a further exchange of
deeds is necessary in order to correct this error; and
i��.HER�,AS, the Port Authority desires to grant an additional 40
acre parcel of land in the Pig's Eye Lake Area to the City of St . Paul
to be used for open space and park purposes; and
WHEREAS, the Division of Park and Recreation recommends the
acceptance of these deeds .
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the proper City officials are
hereby authorized and directed to accept on behalf of the City the
deeds referred to above, copies of which are attached to this
resolution.
