WHEREAS, Macalester College has submitted the attached proposed lot split
for City Council approval ; and
WHEREAS, the Departments of Planning and Economic Development and
Public Works have reviewed the attached lot split at 140 and 142 Cambridge
Street, described as:
140 Cambridge Street: "That part of Lot 2, Block 1 , High Winds
Addition No. 1 , lying north of the following described line:
Comnencing at the southeast corner of said Lot 2; thence
northerly along the east line of said Lot 2 a distance of 41 .04
feet to the point of beginning of the line to be described;
thence N.89°57'19"W. (assuming the south line of said Lot 2 has a
bearing of East) a distance of 137.02 feet more or less to the
westerly line of said Lot 2 and there terminating;" and
142 Cambridge Street: "That part of Lot 2, Block 1 , High Winds
Addition No. 1 , according to the plat thereof on file in the office of
the County Recorder, Ramsey County, Minnesota, lying south of the
following described line:
Commencing at the southeast corner of said Lot 2; thence
northerly along the east line of said Lot 2 a distance of 41 .04
feet to the point of beginning of the line to be described;
thence N.89°57'19"W. (assuming the south line of said Lot 2 as a
bearing of East) a distance of 137.02 feet more or less to the
westerly line of said Lot 2 and there terminating;" and
WHEREAS, the proposed lot split meets the requirements of Sections 67.304
and 67.406 of the Zoning Code;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council accepts and approves
this lot split.
