V�hereas, the City of St. Paul is committed to the safe and
efficient movement of people and goods , and
Whereas , the City of St. Paul is currently designing a computer-
ized traffic signal control system for the Central Business
District which will improve the flow of traffic in that area, and
Now, therefore ; let it be resolved that the City of St. P aul is
committed to provide the funds necessary for construction of_ the
system, and it is further committed to provide funds for the
continued operation and maintenance of the system when it is
complete.
