WHEREAS, The City of Saint Paul pursuant to Section 72 .04 of
the Administrative Code has designated the Port Authority to
exercise on behalf of the City the powers conferred or granted to
the City by Minnesota Statutes Section 462C.01 through 462C.08
and by Chapter 222 , Laws of Minnesota for 1981 ; and
WHEREAS, The Port Authority has previously issued revenue
bonds for owner/occupied housing in Energy Park on behalf of AHW
(Wilder Foundation) ; and
WHEREAS, AHW desires to refund certain revenue bonds; and
WHEREAS, Prior to the Port Authority issuing said revenue
bonds it is required under Section 72 .04 of the Administrative
Code that the City Council adopt a resolution directing the Port
Authority to carry out any specific programs in the issuance of
housing revenue bonds ; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, By the Council of the City of Saint Paul that the
Port Authority of the City of Saint Paul is hereby authorized and
directed on behalf of the City of Saint Paul to exercise the
powers conferred upon the City or granted to the City by Minnesota
Statutes , Section 462C.01 through 462C.08 and by Chapter 222 of
Laws of Minnesota for 1981 ; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That said authorization is for the
issuance of Sixteen Million Dollars ( $16 , 000, 000 ) in revenue
bonds for AHW Corporation (Wilder Foundation) for owner/occupied
housing within Energy Park.
