RESOLVED, That upon execution and delivery of a release in full
to the City, in a form to be approved by the City Attorney, the
proper City officers are hereby authorized and directed to pay
out of the Tort Liability Fund 09070-511-000, to:
l . Anthony Vannelli and Westfield Companies the sum of $2 , 034 .00
in full settlement of their claim of damages sustained on or
about August 27, 1983 , as more particularly set out in the
notice of claim filed in the City Clerk ' s office on October 24 ,
1983 .
2 . Mrs . Margaret Stillman the sum of $200 .00 in full settlement
of her claim of damages sustained on or about September 24 ,
1983 , as more particularly set out in the Notice of Claim
filed in the City Clerk ' s office on October 12 , 1983 .
3 . Roland Engel the sum of $200 .00 in full settlement of his
claim of damages sustained on or about January 9 , 1984, as
more particularly set out in the Notice of Claim filed in the
City Clerk ' s office on January 31 , 1984 .
4 . Gordon B. Fenner the sum of $267.14 in full settlement of his
claim of damages sustained on or about December 22 , 1983 , as
more particularly set out in the Notice of Claim filed in the
City Clerk ' s office on February 22 , 1984 .

MEMORANDUM
CLAIMS AGAINST CITY OF SAINT PAUL
BY ANTHONY VANNELLI, MR5. MARGARET
STILLMAN, ROLAND ENGEL, AND GORDON B.
FENNER
Claimant , Anthony Vannelli , was involved in an automobile accident
with a City of Saint Paul , Department of Police, vehicle on
August 27, 1983 . The driver of the City vehicle was David J.
Boll . Expenses are for the repair of the damaged vehicle . This
office approves the settlement of Mr. Vannelli ' s claim in the
amount of $2 , 034 .00 .
Claimant , Mrs . Margaret Stillman, requests reimbursement for her
broken glasses which occurred on September 24, 1983 , when she
tripped and fell on a City of Saint Paul sidewalk located near
1225 Kennard. The Department of Public Works was notified and
repair was authorized to be made . This office approves the
settlement of Mrs . Stillman ' s claim in the amount of $200 .00 .
Claimant , Roland Engel , requests reimbursement for damages to his
automobile which he incurred when his parked vehicle was struck
by a City of Saint Paul , Department of Public Works , vehicle on
January 9 , 1984 . The driver of the City vehicle was Thomas
Scaramuzzo . This office approves the settlement of Mr . Engel 's
claim in the amount of $200 .00 .
Claimant , Gordon Fenner, was involved in an automobile accident
with a City of Saint Paul , Department of Public Works , vehicle on
December 22 , 1983 . The driver of the City vehicle was Richard W,
Brady. Expenses are for the repair of the damaged vehicle . This
office approves the settlement of Mr . Fenner ' s claim in the
amount of $267.14 .
