MINNESOTA Presented By Referred To East side of Mississippi River Blvd. from Goodrich Ave. to Princeton Ave. East side of Mississippi River Blvd. from Princeton Ave. to St. Clair Ave. Both sides of Princeton Ave. from Woodlawn Ave. to Mississippi River Boulevard. ., 9 WHEREAS, pursuant to Council File #86-1724, residential permit parking was previously instituted on behalf ot 2 the residents residing in the University of St. Thomas College area in accordance with Chapter 168 of the Saint Paul 3 Legislative Code; and 5 WHEREAS, ffie Council of the City of Saint Paul previousfy found that the aforementioned residential area did 6 not have sufficient off sfreet parking to accommodate the residentiai parking needs of the residents as weil as the 7 parking needs of non-residents who use non-residential facilities in the area which lack sufficient off-street parking; and 8 9 WHEREAS, affected residents have subsequently submitted petitions requesting that certain permit parking � 0 restrictions be installed on these blocks; 11 12 WHEREAS, Public Works staff has investigated the basis for the petition and concluded and recommended 13 adoption of the changes requested in the petition; 14 15 NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the following parking regulations shall be established in the 16 residential area near the University of St. Thomas as follows: 17 18 19 20 21 22 23 24 BE IT FINALLY RESOLVED, that these parking regulations will be in effect and be enforced thirty (30) days after 25 City Council approval.
