The Public Works Committee, at its meeting of February 22 , 1984 , took the
following action: .
Hearing Date
l. 2 28 84 FINAL ORDER: To decide on improving GRAND AVENUE between
Griggs Street and Syndicate Street by repairing existing
Bridge No. 62507. The asphalt wearing surface and top
surface of the concrete slab and any other remaining de-
fective concrete will be removed. New e�xpansion devices
wi11 be installed, structural concrete will replace the
defective concrete and a dense low slump concrete wearing
, surface will be placed over the entir.e bridge deck to a
minimum depth of 3 inches over the reinforcing bars .
Recommended approval.
2. 2/28/84 VACATION: Petition of Paul Sween, et al , for the vacation
of part of the alley in Summit Avenue Terrace located in
the southeast quadrant of Summit Avenue and Dale Street
for the purpose of off-street parking.
Recommended approval.
3. 2/28/84 RATIFICATIQN OF ASSESSMENTS : For reconstruction of the
following sidewalks which were laid over from 1982 :
Recommended approval of the following four items :
North side UNIVERSITY AVENUE from N. Prior Avenue to
Cleveland Avenue. � •
