WHEREAS, an appropriation of $118,600 has been established in CDBG Year IX
funds, set aside in specified contingency for construction of a passive park at
the Drew School Site, and
WHEREAS, the Saint Paul City Council , on September 22, 1983, CF 280903,
released $74,000 of �h2 appropriation for said construction, and
WHEREAS, the �,%,000 will provide for removal of existing asphalt and
wall , and grading, grass and tree planting, and fencing on Thomas Avenue but
will not provide for walks, benches, tot lot, lighting and fencing the east
side of the property, all of which are included in the proposed development,
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the 1983 Capital Improvement Budget
is hereby amended to release the remaining $44,600 of CDBG Year IX funds set
aside in specified contingency for construction of a passive park at the
t�rew School Site.
