Ora Lee , please review the attached materiale I am assgn

BasicallyF two things have to happen:
1. Joe Errgo has to xeconvene his committee to plan the
dediation ceremonies and to pick the .rtist to do
the bronze bust. The letter to Joe is self-explanatary.
You should give Joe a call in a week or two t see how
ie ' s coming. I negiected to tell Joe .ca involve the
Civic Center Authority in the planning process for the
dedication. I told Marlene Anderson at the Civic Centz
ta call Joe directly so she could get involved (and
cut down an any negative feelings on the part of th
Civic Centr Authority) . She said she wauld do it .
T any rate , if you could make sure that all of hc
connecti.ons are made and that Joe gets tracking on
this process. I am unclear in my own mznd as to whn
the dedication would occur but i is supposed ta b
sometime around the completion ai the renovat.nn o£
, txie Auditorium (whenever that is, . . I hink t'irginia
Talbert may have an answer to it) ,
2 I talked ith tle St. Paul Foundaion on Friday and

March 1 1984e When LeAnn gets 4hE check, she shuld
dposit it in a special accaunt . Th Ste Paul Foundation
would like the account to be set up so that any interest
on the $9 , 300 would be funneled into the Roy Wilkins
ceremony. In other words, we need a special account
which captures the interes for purposes of the Faundatian
grant . Peter Hames knows how to set these thing LY.
T think that pretty much covers it. The onl.y other issue
is the debate goin.g on between Bill ,n'ilson and the Civic
