WHEFiF�S, The City Council, in accordance with Section 77.07 of the
Legislative Code, and to comply with the Metropolitan Waste Control Commission's
method of charging local governing bodies for Reserve Capa.city Charges, adopted
Resolution C.F. 260524 on Janwa.ry 23� 1973 and C.F. 262908 on January 11, 1974
(Chapter A-6, Administrative Code), which esta.blished the Service Availability
Charges (SAC); now, therefore be it
RESOLVED, That said Resolutions C.F. 260524 and C.F. 262908 are hereby
amended so as to delete the last para�raph thereof, and insert the follo�ring in
its place:
"RESOLVED, TY�t any person app,�ying for a building
permi� shall be entitled to receive SAC unit credits to be
applied to the charges required by this resolution if a
demolition permit l�d been issued for the same site durin�
the five calendar years preceding the calendar year in
which the building permit is issued. The credits given
shall be based on the immediately preceding use of the site,
and the SAC credit shall be determined by the number of
SAC units which the previous structure was discha.rging into
the se�wer system, but in no event sha.11 the number of SAC
unit credits exceed the number of new SA.0 unit charges
fox a specific buildin� or land use site."

in force from and after its pa.ssage, approval and publication.

What Will be Achieved by Taking Action on the Attached Materials? (Purpose/Rationale):
Sewer Availability Charge (SAC) credits resulting from demolition shall remain with the
piece of property where demolition occurred for a period of five years rather than for
perpetuity. If construction does not occur, or if new construction does not use all
credits assigned to the property within five years of demolition, the credits will revert
to the City. Waivers are not precluded in cases where �etentian of credits with the
property can be justified.

6. 12/22/83 RESOLUTION : Street name change - Goodrich Avenue lying i
� easterly of 601 Goodrich Avenue and westerly of Pleasant
Avenue, and also the North-South alley in Block 6 , Terrace
Park Addition adjoining Lot 6 in said Block 6 shall
hereafter be known and designated by the name of Crocus
Hill.
