PRELIMINARY ORDER

In the Matter of improving GRAND AVENUE between Griggs Street and Syndicate
Street by repairing existing Bridge No. 62507. The asphalt wearing
surface and the top surface of the concrete slab and any other
remaining defective concrete will be removed. New expansion devices
will be installed, structural concrete will replace the defective
concrete and a dense low slump concrete wearing surface will be placed
over the entire bridge deck to a minimum depth of 3 inches over the
reinforcing bars.

The Council of the City of Saint Paul having received the report of the Mayor upon the above improvement, and
having considered said report, hereby resolves:
1. That the said report and the same is hereby approved with no alternatives and that the estimated cost thereof
is $ 292.000 f�����Muni�ipal Statei�i?�m����e�s�t A�d $13,000 and
2. That a public hearing be had on said improvement on the ?Ath day of February., 1984 at
10:00 o'clock a.m.,in the Council Chambers of the City Hall and Court House Building in the City of Saint Paul.
3. That notice of said public hearing be given to the persons and in the manner provided by the Charter, stating the
time and place of hearing,the nature of the improvement and the total cost thereof as estimated.
