A RESOLUTION AMENDING THE 1983 CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT BUDGET
RESOLVED, by the Council of the City of Saint Paul, upon recommendation
of the Mayor, and with the advice of the Long-Range Capital Improvement Budget
Committee, that the 1983 Capital Improvement Budget, as heretofore adopted
and amended by this Council, is hereby further amended in the following
particulars:

What Wili be Achieved by Takin� Action on the Attached Materials? (Purpose/Rationale):
The use of 1983 Contingency Funds will allow us to put the contract out for
bids in December and begin actual work on the project in January or February.
The $45, 000.00 is included in the 1984 CIB Budget, but would not be availabl�
until April or May. We feel that we will probably get a lower bid in
