WI�REA.S, on December 16, 1983, the Housing and Redevelopmexit Authority of the
City of Saint Paul did acquire properties located at "473-475 Wabasha, 463 Waba.sha,
458-460 St. Peter, and 550 Rice Street from Ferris Ale,xander; and
P7I�F�A.S, there are currently twenty-eight (28) persons living in the residential
portions of these properties which are in need of relocation to suitable housing; and
WHEI�EAS, it is the intent of the City to provide relocation assistance to these
persons; naw, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, that upon the recom�ndation of the Mayor and the Council Committee on
Finance, Management and Personnel, the Council of the City of Saint Paul does hereby
approve the addition of a new project to the City's Comrnanity Develo�it Block Grant
Year IX Program entitled 'North Wabasha/550 Rice St. Relocation' , f�ding to be
provided as indicated belaa:
