WI�RE',AS, The City of Saint Paul, acting throuqh its Valuation Engineer,
has secured an agreement for the purchase of that certain property described
as follaws:
West 38 feet of the North 86 feet of Lot 2, Block (2) , Borup
and Payne's Ack3ition to St. Paul, ac�ording to the recorded
plat thereof on file and of reoord in the office of the
Register of Deeds in and for RRamsey County, Minnesota
and
The Northerly eighty-six (N'ly 86) feet of Lot One (1) ,
Block 'Ita� (2) , Borup and Payne's �ddition to St. Paul,
and the Northerly eighty-six (N'ly 86) feet of Lot Two
(2) , Block � (2) , except the Westerly thirty-eight
(W'ly 38) feet of the Northerly eighty-six (N'ly 86)
feet of said Lot � (2) , Block 'Itao (2) , Borup and
Payne's Addition to St. Paul, ac�ording to the recorded
plat thereof on file and of record in the office of the
Register of Deeds in and for R�nsey County, Minnesota.
�S, The property herein described is necessary for the replacement
of the Payne Avenue Bridge over the Chicago Northwestern Railroad tracks.
�e property was approved for acquisition on April 26, 1983, by Final Order,
Council File No. 280215. The price at which the property may be purchased
is in the amount of $139,000.00, it being a fair and reasonable price for
the subject property according tA the appraisal obtained by the Valuation
Ek�gineer; and
Wf�RF',AS, �e Valuation Engineer has recommended the purchase of said
property at the price stated above;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, That the Council of the City of Saint
Paul does hereby authorize the purchase of the above described land; and

recorded owners, the sum of $139,000.00, via the Ti.tle Insurance Company of
Minnesota. The conditions of said sale contained in the Memorarxlum on Sale
of Real Estate; said memorarxlum is attached hereto and incorporated herein
by reference. Said sum to be charged to P.I.R. Fund No. 62520-711-000 (L-
8772) ; to be reimbursed fram M.S.A. Funds.
