PRELIMINARY PLAT APPROVAL FOR GARDEN COURT
WHEREAS, Edward Johnston has submitted the attached proposed preliminary plat for
City Council approval ; and
WHEREAS, the appropriate City departments have reviewed the proposed preliminary
plat; and
WHEREAS, the Public Works Department and City Forester have made comments on the
preliminary plat; and
WHEREAS, the proposed preliminar.y plat meets all of the other requirements of
Chapter 67 of the Zoning Code;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council accepts and approves this
preliminary plat for Garden Court, subject to two conditions:
1. The alley be improved to City standards at petitioner's expense; and
2. Six (6) Columnar Norway Maples be planted along Front Street and
three (3) Schwedler Maples be planted along St. Albans, in accordance
with an approved site plan.

City Council Hearing: July 12, 1984
DATE: June 28, 1984
The attached preliminary plat has beer reviewed by the appropriate City
departrnents as required by St. Pau1 's s;�bdivision regulations. Two comments
were received.
The Department of Public WQrks will require that the alley be improved to City
standards at the applicant's expense. The City Forester has specified the
planting of nine boulevard trees: six Columnar Norway Maple trees along Front
Street and three Schwedler Maples along St. Albans. These two requirements
can be shown on the site plan and on the final plat.
STAFF RECOMMENDATION: Approval of the preliminary plat provided that the
a ey is improve to City standards at the app1icant's expense and that street
trees be provided as specified by the City Forester.
