a term of four years commencing as of the

rules. The committee sha.11 meet as often as is
necessary to accomplish its purpose but sha.11 �

days after its passage, approval and publica.tion.
Section 3.
This ordinance shall be deemed a pa.rt of the Saint Paul
Administrative Code and sha.11 be incorporated therein and
given an appropriate chapter and/or section number at the

An administrative ordinance creating a Saint
Paul Affirmative Action Advisory Committee and
establishing its functions ; amending the Saint
Paul Administrative Code by adding a chapter.
THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAINT PAUL DOES ORDAIN:
Section l.
That the Saint Paul Administrative Code is amended by
adding a chapter to read as follows :
��HAPTER 109. ST. PAUL AFFIRMATIVE ACTION
ADVISORY COMMITTEE.?
/-109.01_7 �REATED.7 There is hereby created a
St. Paul affirmative action advisory committee.
The committee shall consist of six members
representing protected class grou�s, three
members representing labor, two city cou�cil
members, one member of the civil service
commission, one member of the htunan rights
co�►mission, one member from the personnel
office, and one member from the mayor's
office.
Staff su�port to the committee shall be provided
by the director of human rights.
