WF�REAS, The City of Saint Paul, acting through its Valuation Engineer
has secured an agreement for the purchase of that certain property described
as follaws:

oording to the plat thereof on file and of record in the office ,
of the Register of Deeds in and for Ramsey County, Minnesota.
(Abstract)
That part of Block 45 of Arlington Hills Additi� to the City
of St. Paul, according to the reoorded plat thereof, bounded
as follaws: On the North by the Easterly prolongation of the
South line of vacated RASS Street, on the West by the West line
of said Block 45, on the South by a line drawn parallel with and
distant 50 feet Southerly of said Easterly prolongati� of the
South line of vacated Ross Street, as measured along the West
line of said Block 45, and on the East by the Westerly line of
the right-of-way of the fornier St. Paul & Duluth Railway Canpany,
naw the Northern Pacific Railway Ccanpany.
WF�REAS, The property herein described is necessary for the replac�ement
of the Payne Avenue Bridge over the Chicago Northwestern Railroad tracks.
The property was approved for acquisition on April 26, 1983, by Final Order,
Council File No. 280215. The price at which the property may be purchased
is in the amount of $106,663.00, it being a fair and reasonable price for
the subject property according to the appraisal obtained by the Valuation
Engineer; and
