STAFF PRESENT: Paula Seeley, Code Enforcement; Mike Unnanu, Fire Prevenfion
1664 Randolnh Avenue
Mike Utmann reported the appellant would not be here today. Mr. Urmann has no objection to a
variance.
Gerry Strathman granted a variance on the nonconforming doors with the following condirions:
1) when the nonconforming doors need to be replaced, they wiil be replaced with conforming fire
rated doors, 2) the building will othercvise be in compliance.
1035 Arkwright Street
Mike Urmann reported the appeliant is here; he spoke to her about the standard variance.
Gerry Strathman granted a variance on the nonconforming doors with the following conditions:
1) when the nonconforming doors need to be replaced, they will be replaced with conforming fire
rated doors, 2) the building will othenxise be in compliance.
641 Lincoln Avenue
David Goldman, owner, appeared and stated he is trying to get his house fixed. He finally has
some reasonable bids and has secured financing. He hopefully will start in about a week.
Paula Seeley reported she issued the condemnation order. She tried to assist Mr. Goidman in
acquiring fmancing; however, his mother has decided she will help him. He did get bids. Ms.
Seeley will call within a week to verify that the work has started.
If the repair wark is done, asked Gerry Strathman, when wiil the condemnation order be lifted.
Ms. Seeley responded she will lift it as soon as she talks to the plumber and the contractor within
a week.
Gerry Strathman denied the appeal because Paula Seeley was conect in issuing the condemnation
order. However, this condemnation order cannot be enforced until it is reviewed by the City
Council on November 15. Ms. Seeley added she can extend the compliance date for Mr.
Goldman and will li8 the condemnation placazd as soon as she sees that work has started.
The meeting was adjourned at 134 p.m.
