the $500 fine was due by October 20, 2000; and
WHEREAS, no payxnent has been received by the Office of License, Inspections and
Environmental Protection as of October 25, 2000; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, that the 3.2 Malt On-Sale license held by Bee Thao and Adam Thao, d/b/a
Thai Esan Restaurant for the premises at 432 University Avenue in Saint Paul is hereby
suspended until such time as the $500 fine has been paid.

Deaz Bee Thao and Adam Thao:
As of Wednesday, OcYober 25, 2000, the licensing office has not received payment of the $500.00
fine imposed by the Saint Paul City Council on September 20, 2000, for the violation of saIe of
alcoholic beverages to an under age person. You were notified of the fine by letter from the Office
of License, Inspections and Environmental Protection dated September 25, 2000. That letter
required that the fine be paid no later than the close of business on Friday, October 20, Z000. As of
Wednesday, October 25, 2000 no payment has been received. We have, therefor, scheduled this
matteT for the City Council on November 8, 2000, to have your 3.2 Malt On-Sale license suspended
untiI the fine has been paid. If you wish to avoid the suspension of your 3.2 Malt On-Sale license,
you should pay the fine immediately.
