As of Wednesday, October 25, 2000, the licensing office has not received payment of the $200.00
fine imposed by the Saint Paul City Council on September 6, 2000, for the violation of sale of
cigarettes to an underage person. You were notified of the fine by letter from the Office of License,
Inspections and Environmental Protection dated September 19, 2000. That letter required that the
fine be paid no later than the close of business on Friday, October 6, 2000. As of Wednesday,
October 25, 2000 no payment has been received. We have, therefor, scheduled this matter for the
City Council on November $, 2000, to have your cigarette license suspended until the fine has been
paid. If you wish to avoid the suspension of your cigarette license, you should pay the fine
immediately.
If you have any questions, you can call me at 266-8710.
Sincerely,
