RESOLVED, That upon execution and delivery of a release in full
to the City, in a form to be approved by the City Attorney, the
property City officers are hereby authorized and directed to pay
out of the Tort Liability Fund 09070-511-000, to :
1 . Victor Angerhofer the sum of $1 , 481. 80 in full settlement of
his claim of damages sustained on or about July 26 , 1985 , as
more particularly set out in the Notice of Claim filed in the
City Clerk ' s office on August 27, 1985.
2. Robert F. Thimmesh the sum of $350.00 in full settlement of
his claim of damages sustained on or about November 17, 1984 ,
as more particularly set out in the Notice of Claim filed in
the City Clerk' s office on January 11 , 1985.
3. Anna E. Bohnen the sum of $250.00 in full settlement of her
claim of damages sustained on or about July 31 , 1985 , as
more particularly set out in the Notice of Claim filed in the
City Clerk ' s office on August 27, 1985.

MEMORANDUM
CLAIMS AGAINST CITY OF SAINT PAUL
BY VICTOR ANGERHOFER, ROBERT F. THIMMESH,
AND ANNA E. BOHNEN
Claimant, Victor Angerhofer, was notified by the Department of
Public Works , Sewer Division, to repair his private sewer connec-
tion. Mr. Angerhofer contracted with a sewer contractor to do
his work at a cost of $1 , 481 . 80. After the hole was dug and the
pipe examined, it ws determined that there was no problem with
Mr. Angerhofer ' s sewer line. Therefore, we are reimbursing Mr.
Angerhofer for this expense in the amount of $1 , 481 . 80.
On November 17, 1984 , claimant, Robert Thimmesh, tripped and fell
on a defect in the street at 5th and Market in Saint Paul . Mr.
Thimmesh injured himself as a result and incurred medical expenses.
We have reached a compromise settlement with Mr. Thimmesh for his
personal injuries and special damages. This office approves the
settlement of Mr. Thimmesh ' s claim in the amount of $350. 00.
Claimant, Anna E. Bohnen, requests reimbursement for expenses she
incurred as a result of her fall on a City sidewalk near Snelling
and University on July 31 , 1985. Most of her medical bills were
covered by insurance but she did have some out of pocket expenses.
This office approves the settlement of Mrs. Bohnen ' s claim in the
amount of $250. 00.
